Animal nutrition company Nutreco is focused on meeting the challenge of feeding a global population that’s predicted to reach 10 billion by 2050. Its biennial AgriVision event brings together key agriculture and food industry players from across the world.
At AgriVision 2021, stakeholders gathered to discuss how to drive transformation of the entire food chain as the sector responds to the epochal pressures of climate change and a soaring world population. But the conversation was missing one thing: the voices of people involved at the grass-roots level.
We connected with eight influencers from locations around the world, including Africa, the UK, and the US. Each influencer gave their unique perspective on the challenges facing their industry, inviting their followers to join AgriVision sessions online, and sharing their key event takeaways.
Over two weeks, our cohort of influencers created 35 pieces of content, with impressive results.
The content generated 173.5k impressions, 56.6k views and almost 20k engagements – equating to an engagement rate of 14 per cent. This compares to a median industry average ER of 0.98%.
